With every rise and fall of your chest with each sweet breath you took, you became more part of this new world. You, baby boy, will continue to grow into tomorrow. Thank you for creating a beautiful space in which to adore you. Soft, delicate, and warm. I couldn’t imagine it any other way…

The One With The Bump | [KS/MO Natural Light Child + Family Photographer]

Meet David, Lisa, Caden and soon to be little bro, Cole. How beautiful is this mama Lisa . Such a wonderful soul with so much to give. I taught with her when I was a Special Education Teacher in Lawrence. I know that it takes hard work + patience + dedication to do her job! With a wee one on the way her long nights up and loss of sleep will be cake! Love, is funny isnt it? You look, you find, you share, you plan & then all of a sudden its changed…

Looking forward to seeing you all in a few weeks for the arrival of your new son. Congrats on the new addition to what I feel is a very complete + loving family! BTW, a tossed in a little vintage chocolate to some of the images. A color worth using, for this color lover.

The One With The Pins | KS|MO Natural Light Child & Family Photographer

So if you are wondering about my “Oh How Pinteresting” sider drawer over on the left hand side of my blogsite, we let me fill you in! I love it! Have you been on it! It is my place for total inspiration! From home decor to food to shopping your closet. Swoon.

I used to have this folder on my computer full of small computer clippings of my ‘favs’ around the internet, but just one problem, I could not remember where I got them from. Oh bother! Which is a totally NO NO NO in my book! Now that I have learned all about copyright I am all over it! LOL

Anyways, the cool thing is that once you ‘pin’ something that you like from the internet it save the URL for you. I was like WHOA, love. There are so many possibilities. For example, now whenever I go into a store and feel completely overwhelmed by all the goodness, I pull out my smart phone and bring up the pics of my ‘favs’ from my pinterest account and then I am soon calmed by the madness….sweet! Try it!

I’m hoping that it will also help with all those impulse shopping moments. And just a side note, I want to also upload my house colors by just ‘pinning’ them to one of my boards. This way I will have a quick pic of my color swatches and the names! Try it! I know you will love it!

The One With The Hats | KS/MO Natural Light Child & Family Photographer

Meet Peyton. Gasp. Gulp. Sigh. Totally gorgeous! I’ve said it once and I will say it again and again, the boys that I capture alway melt my heart and give me warm fuzzies. Peyton just turned one and is a soul beyond his years. He is already walking around and exploring of course wanting to meet and greet everyone. What a sweet little treat this little dude was to capture. There were a ton on hats to use with Peyton, his mama has rockin’ style. He liked the hats. He looks good in the hats…..the hats.
